Regenerative Medicine for Foot / Ankle Pain

Atlas Medical Center’s providers have extensive experience when it comes to foot and ankle pain treatment. Our same-day procedures can alleviate your foot and ankle pain by eliminating the inflammation in the joint, muscle, tendon or ligament.

Our JointRenew Program™ can help aid in healing the damage and underlying conditions that cause you pain. With just one visit to our specialists you can be on the road to relieving your pain. Our doctors utilize procedures such as regenerative medicine along with advanced laser therapy and physiotherapy to help eliminate inflammation and promote healing damaged tissue.

Regenerative Medicine for Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fascia is located at the bottom of the foot. It is a broad connective tissue that runs across the bottom of the foot and spreads from the heel bone to the toes at the front of the foot. Its overuse is what causes plantar fasciitis. The common symptoms of plantar fasciitis include pain upon walking; the pain decreases as the foot begins to get warm, and also stabbing heel pain which originates at the bottom of the heel. It is not uncommon for plantar fasciitis to cause heel spurs. This is because a heel spur arises at the point where the plantar fascia connects the heel bone (calcaneus) which develops as a bony growth.

At the Atlas Medical Center, we have introduced a new regenerative therapy for plantar fasciitis. Our JointRenew Program™ can help relieve the stressed connective tissue with an injection of Regenerative Cells, Advanced Laser Therapy and Physiotherapy. Our procedure helps relieve inflammation and pain by facilitating healing of the plantar fascia. Unlike cortisone injections that just temporarily treat the symptoms, regenerative medicine has the potential to treat the ‘root’ of the problem often offering more sustainable long-term relief. If you are not satisfied with the results of traditional orthopedic treatments for your plantar fasciitis, contact us to learn more about our program.

JointRenew Program™

Since 2001, we have been helping patients get relief from foot and ankle pain even after conventional treatments such as medications, cortisone injections, physical therapy and surgery have failed. Atlas’ unique, regenerative JointRenew Program™ is customized depending on your age, health, diagnosis and severity of your condition. The program may include a combination of two or more of the following procedures: Regenerative Cell Therapy, Amniotic/Umbilical Cell Therapy, Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy, Advanced Cold Laser Therapy and Physiotherapy. The integration of therapies allows us to help accelerate the healing process by increasing the number of regenerative cells and improving blood to the area; which ultimately can help relieve pain and aid in promoting healing of the tissues in the joint. Unlike ‘traditional’ treatments that simply just mask the pain and are temporary, regenerative medicine has the potential to treat the root of the problem and often has more sustainable results. In addition, our Board Certified, skilled, and experienced Medical professionals perform all injections under ultrasound or Fluoroscopy guidance, leaving you confident that the regenerative cells are being injected into the TARGETED area- which allow for the greatest chance for success!
